Main features of the dictionary:
- dynamically and responsive content viewing, filtering and searching
- responsive, mobile-friendly design
- social media integration
- community support with dictionary development
- role-based admin panel
Every day there's a word of a day
published and shared on social media.
We've over 2000 words in the dictionary right now and thanks to the community support this number is still increasing.
Web application is written in PHP which is core technology used in this project.
PHP with relational database were used to build dynamic and responsive dictionary website with secured, role-based admin panel.
The words and sentences are accessed via REST API and the presentation layer was made mostly with Bootstrap, jQuery and DataTables.
The application is integrated with external services (such as social media) and has REST API available allowing other services to integrate with it.
